Projected Grand Opening: Summer 2019

The Museum is professional history, beginning in 1854 to current times, showcasing the grassroots political movement established by the Republican Party.  The success of our capital campaign and strategic plan will transform the Party’s birthplace into Ronald Reagan’s grand vision of a “shining city on a hill” and will once again demonstrate, through word and deed, what incredible things can be accomplished when concerned citizens imbued with a steadfast ideal band together for a special cause.

On-going Strategy

  • Republican National Committee planning for archives
  • Fundraising – Phase 1 is in process and includes Legacy Donation Campaign and focus on Wisconsin support
  • Establish steering and content teams
  • Determine program space requirements
  • Design exhibit space

July 2015 – July 2016:

  • Obtained 501c3 status
  • Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus’ personal endorsement
  • Taking possession of the RNC archives
  • Official endorsement of the Republican Party of Wisconsin
  • Pursue significant grant help to conduct a full archiving operation
  • Ganther Construction of Oshkosh, Wisconsin to serve as the integrated architectural and construction management firm.

August 2016 – December 2016

  • Organize and verify RNC archives
  • Finalize construction plans
  • Complete Board of Director positions

Summer|Fall 2017

  • Reach half way point of capital campaign
  • Break Ground
