Foundation Board President

Justice Wilcox serves as the Foundation’s Founding Board President. His extensive experience in law, governmental affairs, and Wisconsin state politics brings invaluable insight and direction to the museum endeavor. As the last statewide candidate to win all of Wisconsin’s 72 counties, he remains politically well-connected across Wisconsin. Justice Wilcox remains active in numerous law-related and civic endeavors, most notably serving on the Carbone Cancer Board, the Holt Scholarship Committee, and the Center for Politics and the People at Ripon College.

• Appointed by the WI Supreme Court as Chief Judge of the 6th Judicial District, 1985; reappointed in 1986, 1988 and 1990
• Elected Chairman of WI Chief Judges 1990-92
• Appointed by Governor Earl to Wisconsin Sentencing Committee 1984; reappointed by Governor Thompson and served as chairman 1987-92
